How do I get started?
The best way to get started is to reach out via email and request a 15-minute phone consultation to see if what I offer and what you are looking for is a good fit.
Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance and all my services are self-pay. I do offer clients a superbill if their insurance reimburses out-of-network providers. A superbill is like a receipt with extra information for insurance companies to process their reimbursement. This does require a diagnosis.
I don't live in St. Louis. Can I still see you?
I am licensed in Missouri so as long as you are in the state, we can meet via a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept credit card, debit card, health savings card, and venmo. There is a transaction fee for credit/debit/health savings card.
What is your cancellation policy?
If a client needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, they would need to do so before 24 hours of the appointment time or they will be responsible for the full session amount.
Do you offer counseling via phone or text?
I do not offer counseling via phone or text or any other communication medium. Phone, text, or email will only be used for logistical purposes like scheduling.
Do you offer online counsling?
Yes! I do offer online counseling via a telehealth platform that is HIPAA compliant.
Do you see children and adolescent clients?
I do not see children or adolescent clients. I only see clients who are 18-years and older.
Do you offer family or couples counseling?
Occasionally, I will see a client with their partner or a family member if it is beneficial to treatment but for regular sessions I only offer individual counseling and do not offer family or couples counseling.
Do you offer a consultation call before a first appointment?
Yes! I do offer an initial consultation call for free. These usually last about 10-15 minutes.
